Anatel Act No. 1120/2018
The National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel), at the end of 2017, published Resolution No. 686. This revoked several Agency resolutions, including Resolution No. 442/2006, which dealt with aspects of electromagnetic compatibility for telecommunications products in general. To replace it, Anatel published Act No. 1120/2018 as “Technical Requirements for Electromagnetic Compatibility for Conformity Assessment of Telecommunications Products”, which is divided into three groups of tests, namely:
Emissions Testing Group Electromagnetic Disturbances:
Conducted Emission;
Radiated Emission.
Electromagnetic Disturbance Immunity Testing Group:
Immunity to electrostatic discharge;
Radiated immunity to radio frequency electromagnetic fields;
Immunity to fast electrical transients / Burst;
Outbreak immunity;
Immunity to conducted disturbances, induced by radio frequency fields;
Immunity to voltage reduction, variation and interruption.
Group of Tests of Resistivity to Electromagnetic Disturbances:
Resistance to overvoltage in Communication Lines;
Resistance to voltage induced in communication line;
Resistance to overvoltage in AC lines.
