What are they? The term is used for those whose radiation emission at the frequency used produces an electromagnetic field with intensity within the limits established in the regulation.
In Brazil, the regulation dealing with this is ANATEL Resolution 680/2017, ANATEL Act 6506/2018 and ANATEL Act 14448/2017. These replaced the old ANATEL Resolution 506.
Provided that they have their certification approved by ANATEL, this equipment can be used without the need for authorization of use or operating license.
The RF laboratory of ELDORADO has sufficient instrumentation for measuring and characterizing the equipment mentioned in Resolution 680, Act 6506/2018 and Act 14448/2017, namely:
- Periodic Operation Devices
- Telemetry and Wireless Microphone Equipment
- Biomedical Telemetering Equipment
- Material Characteristics Telemetry Equipment
- Electromagnetic Field Variation Emitter-Sensor
- Hearing Aid Device
- Cordless Telephone Systems
- CPCT Wireless Extension Systems
- Equipment using Spectral Scattering Technology or other Digital Modulation Technologies
- Wireless Broadband Access System for Local Area Networks
- Cable Locating Equipment
- Radio Frequency Identification Systems
- Remote Control Systems
- General Purpose Radio Communication Equipment
- Low Power Radio Systems operating at 19 GHz
- Environmental Sound System
- Transmission systems for audio, video or other applications
- Systems operating in the Ultra Wide Radiofrequency bands (NEW)
- Systems operating in the 57-64 GHz band (802.11ad WiGig) (NEW)
The laboratory is also recognized / able to perform the tests on inductive chargers, as defined in the ANATEL Act 493/2017.
